Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

At Dream Bake Private Limited (DBPL), we believe that a company’s true worth isn't measured just in turnover, but in the smiles we create beyond our consumers. Guided by the Companies Act, 2013, we view Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) not as a mandate, but as the heartbeat of our business. To ensure this vision becomes reality, we have established a dedicated CSR Committee to guide our Board of Directors in nourishing the world around us.

Our Board has adopted this policy with a promise: to ensure that as we grow, our community grows with us.

Our goal is simple: To operate in a way that is economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable. We are committed to:

Food is our business, and we believe no one should go to bed hungry. We actively channel resources toward eradicating hunger, poverty, and malnutrition. By supporting initiatives that provide preventive healthcare, sanitation, and safe drinking water, we aim to build a healthy foundation for all.

Fueling Futures through Education & Skills

Education is the yeast that helps society rise. We are committed to promoting education, including special education and vocational skills. Our focus is inclusive—uplifting children, women, the elderly, and the differently-abled through livelihood enhancement projects.

Empowering Her & Reducing Inequalities

When women thrive, families flourish. We are dedicated to bridging gaps by promoting gender equality and empowering women. This includes setting up homes for women, orphans, and senior citizens, and reducing the inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups.

Preserving Culture & Supporting Talent

A nation’s soul lies in its heritage. We support the protection of national heritage, art, and culture, including the restoration of historical sites and public libraries. We also fuel national pride by training athletes for rural sports, Paralympics, and the Olympics.

We stand by those who protect us and build our future. Our support extends to armed forces veterans and war widows. We also contribute to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund , support technology incubators in academic institutions , and undertake rural and slum area development projects.

1. Beyond Business: Our CSR projects are strictly for social good, separate from our normal business operations.
2. Community Money: Any surplus generated from our CSR projects does not become business profit; it is reinvested back into the community.
3. For the People: Initiatives that benefit only our employees and their families are not counted as CSR; our love is for the wider world.

5. How We Bake Change (Implementation)

We believe in the power of collaboration. We execute our vision through:

1. Our Family: Directly through the dedicated team at DBPL.
2. Trusted Partners: Through registered trusts, societies, or non-profit companies established by us or our subsidiaries.
3. Collaboration: By joining hands with other companies to pool resources and create a larger impact.

6. Transparency & Trust (Governance)

Good intentions need strong foundations. We maintain total transparency:

1. Planning: Our CSR Committee creates a detailed annual plan, outlining exactly how and where the funds will be used.
2. Approval: Our Board reviews and approves these plans to ensure they align with our values.
3. Review: We conduct half-yearly reviews to monitor progress and expenditure.
4. Reporting: We proudly report our CSR initiatives in our Board’s Report, ensuring we remain accountable to our stakeholders.
